Writing a book.

The process of writing a book has been transformative, to say the least.

Most that know me, know that I am in the business/marketing/tech space. Not many know that writing has been a hobby of mine for years.

I always wanted to take on the challenge of writing a book. Yet, I never thought that I would actually be able to take it on. Less because of my abilities, but more because of competing priorities in other areas of life.

Writing a book is not easy. Spilling truths and feelings on to a clean canvas of eventualities is such an unnatural thing to do. Very intrinsic thoughts aren’t meant to leave the mind so easily.

However, this book felt so easy to write. The thoughts documented in this book flowed naturally and organically. Admittedly, the inspiration behind this book was not one I was looking for originally, but it came.

This book was inspired by her. As I began to learn about her and understand her way of being, the words that constructed these pages, came in abundance.

The collection of thoughts in this book are raw, unfiltered, imperfect and honest. I never knew that I could express myself in these ways. For all intents and purposes, this book is a journal of explorations and a map of where my wandering feet have taken me in this pursuit of her. From the deepest corners of her mind, through the steepest curves of her heart and even all of her scars.

I wrote this book because I wanted the entire world to know how amazing she is. I wrote this book as a keeper of memories, a trapper of time and a reminder to be here now.
